Compassion and intuitive listening are essential to the services provided by Isis Fields. She is committed to offering excellent, restorative services that empower clients to achieve a balance of mind, body, and soul. Her journey in practicing massage took off while pursuing an 800-hour CMT program at NHI Santa Rosa. She graduated in July 2022 and developed an appreciation for working with her hands and holistic health. During her training, she gained knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and a variety of modalities, including Swedish, Shiatsu, reflexology, deep tissue, and lymphatic drainage.
She prioritizes understanding her clients' needs through initial assessments, documentation, and analysis. She remains dedicated to honing her listening and intuitive capabilities while working with each client during sessions. Her approach ranges from gentle relaxation massages to mild/medium-pressure therapeutic appointments. Each session is unique, tailored to meet the specific needs of every client.
She recommends that her clients book with her every two weeks. While individual cases may vary, a package of services can be arranged for those seeking improvements in mobility (range of motion), flexibility, or tension relief. An initial relaxation or deep tissue appointment is recommended to determine the type of massage needed for subsequent sessions. For example, a relaxation massage could be followed by a lymphatic massage for a client experiencing water retention. In another scenario, a client who just received deep tissue work might prefer a 30-minute stretching session before their next appointment for overall care. For this reason, she has included 30-minute add-on services to cater to the unique needs of each client. Her goal is to create the best "Plan of Care" through intention setting during the initial stages.
Her primary goal in every massage is to calm the nervous system and promote the body's innate healing properties. Massage can lead to deeper sleep, increased muscle elasticity, improved mood, and a greater sense of well-being, among other benefits. To enhance these comforting and positive effects, she encourages clients to engage in a smooth, rhythmic breathing pattern. The specific breathing pace may vary based on the type of massage administered.
Deep tissue and myofascial techniques involve more intense pressure application, sometimes utilizing tools like a "thumb boost saver" or a "theracane." These styles focus on specific areas and require active participation from both parties for optimal relief.
Relaxation massage is milder and ideal for general full-body maintenance. Her approach reflects her commitment to respecting each client's natural capacities, employing a slow and steady technique. She specializes in women's care and enjoys the learning process of getting to know her clients.
In her free time, she loves spending time with loved ones, going on road trips, finding tranquil places in nature, and swimming. Grounding and movement are essential components of her self-care routine, including practices like tai chi, swimming, dancing to high-vibrational music, and bike rides.
